At this point, most of the drawing is complete. As you can see, this new method has allowed me the option to change from my original plan (in Part 1) of going with her signature front wave hairstyle, to semi-bangs instead. Also I decided to add the sea-star/ flower and the pearls. I still left myself a little room to improvise on her hair, but it's basically ready for the final step, coloring.See the progression to this piece:
