was bored, couldn't think of anything, so i drew a pic with the phoenix and dragon i did in a photoshop pic a while back. i really don't like how the phoenix came out, the head sucks.Related content

Well coloured, must say. I love how the phoenix's tailfeathers burst like the flame of a flamethrower and how you can see through the dragon's wing. However, there'd be a lot more depth in the picture if there were more shadows -- that'd make the light of the phoenix's flame look a lot brighter. It's personal choice, of course...

i agree with you. in fact, i shaded the backround of the picture grey, darkening towards the edges, but lighter near the phoenix. but, unfortunately, my scanner has a bad case of the suck, so i have to play with contrast to get it to look right, as it always makes my pictures too bright. *shrug* oh well.
