Gasping for air, Eri tried her best to get as far as she could in a very short amount of time as she knew that her father could not catch her as he used to do due to his new wounds. Her claws scraped the floor as she stopped right in front of the center where the Nova Tree now stood... she heard stories from the injured and the old about this so called legend that was now dead and how it would keep them safe from the spites.
Slowly.. she approached the Nova Tree, looking at each crystal as she did so. They looked like they used to have such vibrant colors but now? It's.. so dull... so dead. She stood there, not moving, looking up at it through the thick dust and fog. She sighed... was she just bad luck? She hurt her father and uncle by running away from a fight... she destroyed the Nova Tree and many wyngrew have been hurt.
She turned around, eyes closed and head low to the ground. Opening her eyes and looking one more time at the Nova Tree, she proceeded to go towards a dark alleyway and lay down between the debris of the destroyed houses... slowly she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
