Description These pictures of my past,
A past I never really had.
They do not remind me,
They only make me sad.

I wonder what I used to have,
I wonder what I’ve lost.
All has faded now,
And yet I do not know the cost.

I see smiles in all the pictures,
I see smiles in all content.
And I wonder what those smiles were for,
And I wonder what they meant.

I wish I could have known,
what I used to smile about.
I wish I could have known,
Why I used to laugh and shout.

But maybe there is good in this,
Maybe this is right.
For now I have a clean slate,
A new chance to find a light.

I like it a lot. The second to last stanza is awkward, since you seem to like crit.

Yeah, I do like it. And it makes the scheme go a little haywire. But maybe that's just me. I was in a fairly bitter mood, I'm thinking.

I don't know Fight Club so much, so I can't say anything on how you pictured the character, but the way you pictured the emotion with just the eyes is amazing.

And a book, a book first. It's the one of the most amazing books I've ever read, and likewise with the movie (a rarity)
The movie is in the top 30 best movies of all time, deserves 10 though. Imdb.com
You should read it. I mean, if GTA is something you enjoy, then this book is for you. And it's short.
