why not? it feels to anime for you? you think its the same as batman and other comics? or you think its childish?
well i asked someone and he told me that teen titans is a mix of anime/cartoon/comic style.
well i like it because it talks a lot about friendship, working together and good stuff.

I wouldn't say Titans is anime, purely because it's a western cartoon.
I do like anime, I just don't like childish mindless cartoons that are carbon copies of each other.

WRONG, teen titans has an anime taste, but a small taste.
second why do people call it carbon copies?just because you don't like it?
so you feel you are a man?and that childish things are not for you?
so you think you are a macho man? i watch Dora sometimes, its WAY more childish than teen titans but i don't care.
wait a minute teen titans is not for kids,it has some parts for semi mature teens, you think crime is for kids?

Carbon Copy = it's the same as every other cartoon on that network.
I never said I don't like childish things - I *love* the ghibli movies, I said I don't like mindless child cartoons.
And yes, teen titans is for kids. It's a cartoon that ships morals and only morals which you shouldn't have to be told time and time again anyway.

you are a BAD person if you allow kids to watch teen titans, every show with violence is for people with 12 years or older.
the only stuff for kids is things like Dora the explorer but if it has violence, then kids can't see it.

oh really? kids have sex with other kids? teen people have an almost adult personality if you think about it.

Teen people *think* they have an adult personality. There's a difference.

but you must agree that a teen is half a kid and half a man.
i miss RedHawk4.

I think the opposite - shielding children from every single harmful thing in the world will have a severe adverse effect on them, effectively making an adult who can't handle... well, anything really.
Of course, having violence on a scale that would frighten children or show them it's ok is also bad.
Kids cartoons at the moment are, IMO, a little bit too soft in some cases, but they do their job well enough.

just let kids watch things that are made for the specific age.
by the way people are born with no morals, someone has to teach them, and some parents don't teach morals so the TV has to help a little bit.

TyrantWave In reply to yellowshinygoldfish [2009-10-03 18:47:19 +0000 UTC]
Wrong.
If you think people aren't born with morals, I won't bother arguing it as it's your choice, but you have no evidence to suggest that.

sure a kid is not born to kill but,how is he going to know what's bad?he could make a mistake without noticing.

It's called experience. Everyone makes mistakes, yes, but the general idea is always there.

the general idea is there? so bad people know they are doing bad things? okay i get it.

Yes, they do.
You have to remember, the concepts of Good and Evil are entirely subjective.

good and evil are not subjective, there are rules, but christian people exaggerate sometimes.

Good and Evil *are* subjective. What you think is evil may be good to someone else, or vice versa.
Right and Wrong are *not* subjective, as they have obvious outcomes - kicking someone for no reason is wrong. Kicking someone for a *bad* reason is also wrong, but that may be good or evil depending on which side you're on.
I don't quite get what you mean by there are rules.

yellowshinygoldfish In reply to TyrantWave [2009-10-03 21:21:27 +0000 UTC]
well there are rules,if you don't obey the government, even if you did the right thing, not obeying government will be a bad thing since we have to obey the laws.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TyrantWave In reply to yellowshinygoldfish [2009-10-03 21:40:45 +0000 UTC]
But not all laws are good. In fact, some laws are just plain atrocious - we follow them to make our day to day lives easier, and for the most part, they are a good thing to have in place.
But that's a case of right and wrong (Which some laws get wrong anyway), not good or evil.

yellowshinygoldfish In reply to TyrantWave [2009-10-03 22:00:10 +0000 UTC]
but laws prevent us from going nuts, imagine a world with no laws,no police to fight crime, the world would become a chaos.

TyrantWave In reply to yellowshinygoldfish [2009-10-04 08:11:00 +0000 UTC]
You assume because there is no law people will do the opposite?
There's such a thing as common sense, you know...

*people rob a a bank* *the cops don't do nothing.*
*people over kill animals and we run out of food.*
*random fights.* *killing the president.*
like you said,we are animals, and as such we can't survive with no rules, maybe you won't do what i said above but the world has more than 100,000,000 criminals, that's enough to create a chaos.
