I made the armature, glowing bits, and the shiny finish in Blender. The creature itself is an exported model from the life-simulation PC game, Spore, with mods. I technically created it through the game's creature editor.
It's. . . an interesting process; but after a couple of hard drive crashes and buying new Spore copies just to replace the access codes I keep losing, I have a tough time getting any new material done.

ahh, sounds like a hot mess you find yourself in, crashes have to be like, the most annoying thing, aside from you replacing the codes.
I just want you to know though, it looks quite majestic, even if you didn't create the model, it is simple...beautiful regardless of said hassle XD
