The Tripredacus Council has had many machinations under their sleeve, many plans for usurping the Lineage of the Primes that were meant to increse their odds of success. But then Megatron all but destroyed Cybertron and much of the Tripredacus Council along with it. The few remnants of this council pulled what resources were left and created a literal clone of the very Decepticon Leader.

The revenge plan was simple, when this clone had fully matured he would usurper Megatron and command the Decepticons, carrying out the Tripredacus Council's legacy and grand designs. The problem was that this entailed a tortured existence (or "power training" as his insidious creators calls it) on a barren rock in a far remote galaxy far from the known universe. Needless to say this has given Galvatron some serious parent issues, so much so that instead of killing Megatron he would rather help his mother in her endeavors, forsaking the Tripredacus Council out of hellish scorn.

It's also worth noting that despite his rather calm and gentleman like demeanor (complete with a rather swave charming man voice to boot), Galvatron might be completely insane and the kind of monster willing to risk the very stability of time and space to ensure his mother's victory...

Funny thing about this redesign, in trying to make his beast mode more interesting I ended up making it look like a more dinosaur like version of the Inhumanoid D'Compose. And yes the idea of a crossover between Transformers and Inhumanoids (both Hasbro products by the way) does sound like something that needs to happen right the fuck now. SOMEPONY GET IDW PUBLISHING ON THE HORN!!
