Very nice. You do realize that the definition that you have up there is the American definition, not the Japanese definition.

So the Jenova are the hybrid humanoids you mentioned a while back then?
So we have Minerva here who transforms into the head of the robot on the right and Sari whose arm transforms into a cannon (and may herself transform into a cannon that attaches to an Autobot), correct?

Sari doesn't turn into a gun that attaches to an Autobot, but other than that yes that's correct. It was a brain fart at best but I finally have a way to work Masterforce into my own TF series.
Of course the only reason for the Headmasters is that the Jenovas had much more time to experiment with binary armor allowing entire beings to have their entire bodies become Cybertronian tech.

I thought that Spike and Sari could become like Targetmaster weapons since Minerva and her friends can provide the info for transforming one's entire body into tech.

Perhaps, but after the Decepticons dropped the Arbiter Act they were pulling they had decimated much of the Jenovas' base of operations, the original data for the Headmasters tech going with it. And to add insult to injury, much of the Jenovas technology and data has either been destroyed or confiscated by the Decepticons making it very hard to retrieve any possible copies of the data. All they have to work with is the Autobots' own research and limited resources so providing info on becoming full on tech might take a good while to fully get.

I never understood the Headmasters, you have a fully functional computer brain which is about 1000 times better then a human's...then you cut the head off, make it a smaller robot which a human controls and makes the transformer unable to transform or even control his or her own body?!
And somehow they are better then normal transformers?!
I just could never wrap my brain around that, ever.
But here you make their more like mecha, which sounds much more reasonable. Good job.

I never really got it either, but in the American comic from yesteryear the Autobots deliberately took off their heads rendering themselves at the mercy of the Nebulans as a sign of peace and trust, what with the Nebulans not exactly willing to trust a bunch of titanic metal death machines. As for the "better than normal" bit, I figure it might be because of some "Heart of the Cards" or "Spiral Energy" bull-dokey.
In the Japanese anime Masterforce, the Headmasters were in fact sparkless bodies called "Transectors", but then when the anime ended the sparkless bodies were given their own sparks and went onto fight in space leaving the humans to live out their lives on Earth.

And that is one of the reasons I like your series.
It cuts through all the BS and gets right down to the logic and sense that must have once been behind these insane ideas at the time.

confused, does she turn from a human to a transformer, or is it like in gaijin masterforce where she turns into a head?
either way, very cool... (though you do seem to be fond of backpack kibble XD not that that's a bad thing..)

Tyrranux In reply to Kairu-Hakubi [2010-04-14 22:16:37 +0000 UTC]
Exactly like Gaijin Masterforce, though the transformation from humanoid to head might be a bit more physics breaking this time around.
As much as it saddens me, when you're dealing with a TF fembot and you're trying to make her look feminine, access kibble is regretably unavoidable (if she turns into something like an ambulance or a van) T_T.

I can't really stand alt modes with treads, usually it ends up with the treads being all taken apart and looking weird in robot mode.

I actually meant the guy from ROTF, which is why I used his beta name... it's also hilarious.. but now that you mention it, the crab did have treads didn't he! XD
and he transformed into... a guy with a giant enemy crab on his back

But at least he made an interesting Predacon on the show^-^.
But yeah, that Rampage, I definetely liked how his treads could become flail weapons. Hopefully we'll see more of that with future figures.
