This is the first eight panels of the story Captain Meta: Year One . Here we see the planet where he had came from and was launched into space and flew 60 light-years from his planet to none other than our own Blue Marble in the style of Superman's origin story (Mainly cause Captain Meta is the discount Superman). This is only the beginning for his adventure and when Metagirl: Year One comes out, you'll be able to see a new prespective on this scene here. For clarity, the yellow text is supposed to be Captain Meta himself narrating this story.
