Description
Created on 2022-03-23, touched up on 2023-03-24. Sachi is a mascot I design for Squishy, a free and open-source platform for working with old SCSI devices with modern systems in a flexible manner. This is her context key art.
Sachi (さち, 幸, means happiness) is a spirit fox who attaches to an old SCSI magnetic tape drive. She loves to fiddle with old techs. Sachi used to play the role of a shinto maiden and divine agent in a small Shinto shrine called Suka Jinja (素華神社). Nowadays her shrine has been built over by a university, and she assumes her human identity as Professor Suka Sachiko (須賀 幸子) and teaches Machine Design and Numeric Control there.
I might give Sachi a role in my upcoming project.
