Everyone knows Mia for her serene flow and grace on the surfboard, as well as her calm and easy-going attitude and maturity. From the easygoing Coxos waves in Ericeira to the colossal behemoth in the Nazaré North Canyon, every ride and trick performed by her was like watching 'a supernatural spectacular, a girl who can bend water with every part of her body', so wrote a sports journalist.

Despite her local popularity, no one could find a way to peep or write about her life outside of surfing. In fact, nobody ever had the opportunity to ask. So graceful, yet so slippery and hard to catch. I mean, if they did, that journalist would unexpectedly be on the nose. And whoever's in charge of watching over the visitors to this swimming pool might be left thinking...
