Description This drawing shows the USS Long Beach as looked like in around 1969, after a minor refit, which added two single Zuni Chaffroc launchers at both sides of the hull near the Talos loading hatches, removal of IFF sensors at the aft flying bridges, removal of two tilted antennas from the aft superstrcutre, added single antenna on the stern port/left side, and replacing the dark grey/black liferafts with light grey/white ones. Otherwise it looks the same as the 1966 look. According to the Wikipedia, the SPS-32/33 radars too got an upgrade around this time replacing their vacuum tube switchboards with Solid State ones.
