Description On this version (again no info on dimensions, displacement or layout) I've chosen a main battery layout of superfiring pairs at ends and the rest two turrets in wing mounts amidships around the middle of the hull, separating the two boiler rooms from one another.
Otherwise the same as the design 282 proposal:
www.deviantart.com/tzoli/art/V…
Friedman does states a modified version 286B with four twin and two triple 12" turrets (supposedly the triples at the sides) and twenty four 4,7" Guns in four twin and sixteen single mounts so I chosen the base 286 design as similar to that just with twin main turrets.

The design had the following characteristics:

Dimensions: unknown probably 153,62 (pp) 162,25 (wl) x 24,38 x 7,62m
Displacement: unknown, around 20.000tons (standard)
Armour: unknown probably 38-42mm Deck, 229-254mm Belt
Engines: unknown around 21-24.000shp, steam turbines, 4 shafts
Speed: 39km/h (21knots)

Armaments:

6x2 12"/45 (305mm/45) Vickers Mk B Cannons,

4x2, 16x1 4,7"/50 (120mm/50) Vickers Mk A Guns,

4x1 457mm Underwater Torpedo Tubes

Same main battery layout as the Brazilian Minas Gerais class, albeit without the raised forecastle. Did Vickers design those ships? Having some 4.7" has me recalling the Dante Alighieri as well.

No, Armstrong designed those two ships

Minas Gerais designed by Armstrong, no the turret layout on 286 resemblance to French Courbet more, while MN have amidship turret en echelon layout and she have full flushed deck, some of these exported designs doesn't have drawings nor blueprints, they're pretty much mostly speculative, hypothetical done by Tzoli.

Turret secondaries aren't new though, other nations have same ideas in mind just never brought them on board due to reasons (weight, space and magazines etc).

Not hypothetical like the most of the World of Warships filler ships, but true never-weres represented by me by my ideas and knowledge. As I have no access to the original Vickers papers which might give clue on arrangement (either by hull length, width, displacement or weight allocations) I have to rely on myself on these.
