heh, perhaps U're right...that thought never even crossed my mind.....actually I got a request from a friend to do a shot, lit like that, with latex, so I just did it and thought it turned out kinda cool

Latex has some interesting properties when it comes to lighting. Do you have a black roll of paper to hang up there as well (for the backdrop) or is it solved with fabric/cloth?

I always use cloth for black backgrounds cause the black paper often reflects some of the light....besides, cloth is cheaper
