Manga: Rosario+Vampire
The tarot card ‘judgement’ is represented by naked men, women and children rising from their graves with their arms outspread. The archangel Gabriel blows his trumpet, and the people respond to this call, ready to be judged and to find out if they will be accepted into the heavens or not. The card judgement represents rebirth, inner calling and absolution. Reversed, the card represents self-doubt and inner criticism.
Xia long Miao is who I chose to represent this card. Xia long is first introduced as an enemy, specifically to Fangfang and Yukari, and a part of fairytale. He is shown to be quite powerful with the capacity to defeat Fangfang, but Fangfang reminds him of his past, being friends with him and having peace between their families. He gets a chance at absolution, being forgiven for his actions against Fangfang from being part of fairytale. He goes through a lot of self doubt as he struggles with living up to his expectations, seeing himself only as a decoration rather than the powerful icon in the Miao family, which, arguably, he is. He is last seen fighting against Alucard alongside Ludie in the end chapters, having decided which side he wanted to fight on.
