This month's community challenge theme is TETHER.

What ties your wolf to the island? Perhaps it is a personal crusade, or even another wolf? Each has something that grounds them, that connects them to the fate of Almos. What most binds your wolf and their fate, to the fate of all else?

JOREL
Jorel finds nothing more than his family and ideals are what tie him to the island. He believes in what the island tells them, and what path its chooses for them. He accepts it, for it is much too similar to destiny; if it is not destiny that the spirits choose for the wolves of Almos. Jorel only hopes that the paths the island leads his children down are ones that, in the end, lead them with frutiful, long and loving lives.

VANILLE
There was only one thing keeping Vanille to this place. It wasn't even his family anymore; it was one wolf. His salvation. His lifeline. He didn't know what he'd do without her; it was as if he could no longer breath if she were to ever leave his life. Larkspur; the wolf who kept his cold heart beating, the wolf who saved him from so many different things over the seasons that he'd lost count. What would he ever do without her? He'd break. That's it. And yet, there was something else pulling him. Something else that seemed to twist his fate, and he was yet to decipher what that meant was in store for him.

PETRICHOR
Petrichor, since his childhood, had needed nothing more than what he already had. He was living the perfect life in his eyes, and he was content. He had the best family he could ever ask for, and that was enough for him. His home was here with his family, and he desired to go nowhere else. This was his fate already sealed, and he was happy with that.

TYLEE
Deep down, Tylee has always felt a need to prove herself. It is not a desire she shares openly, nor does she know if her brother feel the same way. All she knows is she still feels tainted wearing the blood and bones of her mother. She did not know her father- nor did Amaryllis for that matter. The fact was, she was a traitor. Tylee cared little else for her. But it branded her. That was what adults saw when they looked at her, she could see it in their eyes. So, she had to prove herself. She had to show them her desire to fight for their Alva. To follow the rules; to do everything her mother couldn't do. She strives for one thing and one thing alone; to please her queen.
