In collaboration with the lovely (who is active on her Twitter @KichiArts ) once again for a Source Filmmaker and digital artwork collaboration, this time for the Famous 15 Go To The Nordics SFM contest hosted by KritzKast and TeamSourceTF. The contest is in tandem with an upcoming competitive TF2 LAN: Copenhagen Games, which is hosting both a Highlander 9v9 AND 6v6 tournament, each with a €3000 prize pool.

While one of the themes was making an equal representation of the Highlander and 6v6 gamemodes featured at the LAN, another option in the subcategories was Vikings, most Danish thing, as well as fairytale characters. I was looking at the medals and saw that they were based off The Little Mermaid statue, so I wanted to do something very loosely based off the statue's pose with a 6v6 team. Authentic Vikings didn't actually wear horned helmets and Scandinavian mermaids were considered ominous rather than violent, but I blame Valve for this one considering a horned helmet was named the Nasty Norsemann.

EDIT: We won Top 2 for the contest, as well as the categories "Highest Quality" and "Best Fairytale"! Our image was also used as an offline overlay for Copenhagen Games LAN as well as featured on the official Team Fortress 2 website News blog section. Thank you for everybody who supported us.
