"Well, one eye has not exactly helped my aim... But then again, I've never once declined a challenge."

The new faith brought order to the lands... And ruled with an iron fist. Crushing any opposition with extreme prejudice, although they could never truly snuff out the old ways of life the people so desperatly clinged on to. Unruly masses aside, a fragile peace slowly started to form and the empire thrived. Wonders of engineering were built, trade prospered and most imporantly - the populace was finally safe from the wilds and the monsters that dwelled therein.
Unfortunately, that led to the Slayer Guilds being redundant as they no longer served a purpose. Shunned as they already were they decided to bend the knee to the church and pledge their lives to enforce the faith, bring order to the lands and of course, slay daemons and beast alike.

The lore/backstory is still very, very much a work in progress. Not sure how much religion I actually want in it, but I think I'll find a nice compromise soon enough. It's also proven slightly, just slighly difficult to make these people different from Warhammer Witch Hunters, Diablo Demon hunters and Witchers.

Once again, I started with the character before the background. Mistakes were made :/
