Description Yes...yes another abstract fractal, and yes it IS a fractal Created in UF 3.05

I dont know if you guys ever had an etch-a-sketch, but to me this looks like an etching. Its also got an organic feeling to it, reminds me of flowers for some reason!

This was the hardest formula I've EVER had to work with! For the adventurous among you it was ALK+KPKombinsky in kpk+akl.ufm, have a go

I'm brand new to fractals - I've been making them for about a week. I've been using chaoscope.
Um. What's kpk+akl.ufm ???

Its a formula from the database in Ultra Fractal, this is a shareware program with a free trial period, get it at [link] .

Hi uberlord,

I really like this work. I have never thought somebody would create such a nice abstract from this formula by KPK and me

Reminds me of Spawn. Pretty damn cool.

Nice Job! Good use of the formula and well selected colors.

Finally back after a LONG hiatus. I like this one. Lots of colors, and yeah, it does remind you of a flower.

Kinda calming with the deep blues and the white, but the brighter colors bring it to life.

Nice.

That's really very cool! It almost looks like an abstract cartoon instead of a fractal. My compliments on the colours, they get me all excited! ^-^ I'm kind of speechless, wonderful work!!

Wow! The cool greys really make the reddish tones pop, like lashes of fire. Wonderful fractal and beautifully proportioned composition.

Your last fractals are just... I like the way they all scape from the 'normal' fractals... .. I can't think of anything to say that could help you improve it... Nor give any advanced critique... ... But I can say that the color combination is wonderful as the composition... It's just one of those artworks that just makes you stay staring at it for a long time... Well... Enoug of rambling... ^^ ...

Thats quite alright I'm glad that I can show people that ultra fractal doesnt just create flowing/glowing/flowery/spirally things, it can do soo much more. You just gotta work at it...

It's a great initiative... People will have a more open view of what a fractal is... Not only about ultra fractal use, but fractal art as a whole...

Can you list in formula and out color formatte? Or possible let me see the complete .ucl?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

uberlord In reply to TSHansen [2005-07-20 11:12:15 +0000 UTC]

I'd rather not send the .ucl, if you had that you could render it and sell it

the formula is KPKMondrinksy in kpk.ufm, you'll see immediately as the formula looks pretty like the final product, but i did a lot of tweaking.

As for help with UF, check *Ultra-Fractal they have a tutorial listing which should get you started with all the basics. And as always, experiment

Oh actually that isnt right!!!!

The formula for this one is AKL+KPKombinsky its in kpk+akl.ufm

I did an absolute ton of tweaking and messing with the formula.

dang. i like the sharp contrasts, color and composition. I have figured out what i like about your fractals; they use good tones and design principles, rather than fruit loop rainbow colors that give the feel of cheesiness. anyways, good job. das ΓΌber!

Picasso would have loved this one! Can you imagine what he would have come up with if he'd gotten his hands on fractals!!!!!
