Description Medium: Ink, Acrylics

Size: 12" x 17"

Subject: This is inspired by William Blake's Poem "The Poison Tree" and the Columbine Massacre. William Blake's poem is about hate growing inside someone like a tree, and I unforunatly relate flowers to the Columbine murders. People often referred to the columbine massacre as a "killing field" and if that's the case, I think this is the tree that was in the middle of that field. With its two apples, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.

aka: "The Poison Tree", "Columbine Black", "The Hate Tree", "The Apple Seed", "The Tree in the Killing Fields".

Very powerful image. -- And for some reason, I teared up when I saw it. ._.; So I've got to fave it. If the meaning and subject, not to mention the inspiration around the picture can just slam ya? Deserves a lot, in my eyes.

Thanks for sharing this picture. <3
