Description
Artist: Long VoFull size sample sprite from the high definition version of Street Fighter currently being worked on by UDON artists. This is the same size and detail you'll see on screen in the final release version.
The sprites for the new release of the game, which will be available on download networks for PS3 and XBox 360 some time before Christmas, are 4.5 times the size of the original sprites and packed with new detail and style.
A Street Fighter fan has posted an animated gif comparing the original to the new which you can check out right here .
Look for more samples throughout the summer as the project continues.

Oh my God this is so detailed. Even more detailed than the SVC Chaos version. I only heard of a HD Sprite contest on Newgrounds. It's finished now, and I haven't even found the results yet!

It looks nice at first glance but the anatomy in his arm is very strange. My guess is that he broke his thumbs and arm while fighting and he doesn't move correctly now.

It looks great, thats obvious... but a big street fighter fan like me wonders how is the Sagat sprite going to look? since ken looks to be drawn over the original sprite, looks really acurate to the original, but what about the muai thai master? will u do the same with him? ...i think we got used to a "bigger" Sagat than the sprite on the game... what did Capcom say about him?
