This was taken in Beijing, China. It's common for senior citizens to practice their calligraphy; oftentimes, one can see them equipped with giant brushes and buckets of water painting out the Kanji characters onto the pavements. I found this so beautiful, even if the water would eventually evaporate. I love China.
