I like the fact that some of the weapons are on gimbals, so they can point in different directions. That would make this one tough machine to take down. Not to mention if he had to retreat, he could fire at you while he was running full tilt away from you. Great tactical advantage.

Very cool! From the enemy's point of view there's nothing worse than facing an enemy who can outmaneuver you AND blow you to bits at the same time! Looking forward to seeing this model in action!

I know. It's not going to be easy. My best guess is you'd have to amp up the shield to a full coverage one, kind of like the GN field they had in Gundam 00.
Another possibility is that you could give it the ability to teleport. They're chasing it and suddenly it's right behind them. That would be rather unpleasant for the other side. Nothing more disconcerting for an army than to have the enemy suddenly appear at their rear. Imagine the confusion if the enemy is engaged and suddenly enemy mecha appears right in their midst blazing away, then disappear just as quickly, then reappears and hits them again. This would mean you've got to call some of your mecha back to defend the fleet. This weakens your attack, divides your forces, and causes confusion among your pilots. At that point, your main attack group (which is now weakened) is hit with a frontal assault that breaks through.

Looking at it the feel is the same as the second iteration of Gundam Heavyarms unlimbering all of it's Gatling cannons at one time. Uber firepower! Looking forward to the movie more and more!
