CINEMA 4D and Photoshop, CINEMA 4D kicks major ass btw!
This is sort of a sequel to this one
Picked up how to create 3D abstract art.. now I know why some artists do hundreds of abstract renders, you can make some really amazing things there.
Used stock gas masks from here kiwitiki.deviantart.com/art/Ga… and angelwillz.deviantart.com/art/… , a few textures from cgtextures.com/ and the rest is mine.
ALL WORK HERE IS COPYRIGHTED, using this image without asking for permission is prohibited and YOUR ASS WILL BE SUED.

Very nice work! Like the 3d renders very much, very well blended!! They fit perfectly into the total image..Great coloring too..
The only thing that can make it even better...
if you upload it as a single image without the close-ups and the strokes at the top and the bottom

It's all positive criticism! I just think the image itself is awesome
and think that the danger strokes etc attract to much attention from the main subject.. And that deserves all the attention because it's f*cking great
The close ups make it even clearer that it's a very detailed piece..and that's a good thing for sure!
And i know what you mean about images seaming to plain, i'm stil trying to make a piece with a pure white or black background..

I totally thought the big gas mask was some sort of plane for a minute there. Haha. I'm loving the way you've started to integrate 3D into all your work, it really takes it to the next level. I'm going to have to try that program when I have some free time. But again - awesome! Did you submit this for semi-permanent?

yeah it still reminds me of some kind of a military medal/symbol at a glance. 3D is amazing.. it just opened up a big window in my abilities as a graphic designer, definitely recommend trying it out!
