When I was playing the first mission, I thought I was Corvo for a moment and I accidentally killed Billie when she appeared. I then reloaded my last save and remembered not to touch any of the choke/kill buttons. It brought tears of laughter to my eyes on thinking how silly I was!

I see what you did there! 
Billie appeared at the platform near a bone charm/rune I can't remember, above the workshop that has the mine blueprints in the first Knife of Dunwall mission. Every time I hear the 'bamph' noise the Whalers make, I freeze with a finger on the stab button.
