i like the idea to go almost black and white with this (hints of colour). the makeup is fantastic and i like the fact that your eyes aren't obscured by huge (scalera?) contacts...there's a playful intensity there. good stuff.

Yea I really love his stuff that just has one little thing here and there,John is a amazing talent.
He told me "fot this shot NO BLACK STUFF.LOL" He knows I like either making my eyes,lips,teeth or the inside of my mouth black.LOL

good call on his part. the black is interesting though and lends a nice contrast. it also tends to add a bit of the grotesque (which is a good thing) and morbid at times.

John and I have been friends for years,there is like 3 pic's of me in his book.Even though him and I are friends,I still can't help but be a little star struck everytime I"m around him because he's such a amazing talent!

I met John a few years back at a convention we were both hocking our art at,he's since become one of my best friends.
He's soooooooo talented and such a amazing sweet person.
I love him to death.
