Description
In which issue 1 ends with the Joker getting a sock in the jaw. After she manages to draw Batman out a bit on the subject of relationships and needle him about same. Oh, that rascally Joker.
Over the next week or two (subject to change) I will continue to post content related to this comic, though the regularly scheduled updates to the comic itself will pause while I knock out a few more pages. Unfortunately, the tools I'm using make fight scenes and some of the very very specific things I'm trying to do in certain other scenes a slog to put together, and making that easier (or even possible) is a big part of why I have found it necessary to retool my process. I'm learning a lot, and having fun with it, but it's still a process. Talky scenes (which make up a major part of the comic's story anyway) are much faster to do, and buy me room to breathe schedule-wise on the violent stuff, but that doesn't obviate the need for the retool.
To everybody that has followed this comic so far in my journey of experimentation, thank you! I created this for fun and as an intellectual exercise in art, comic creation, and design, but it's great to see so many people responding so well to it.
