Description
Here, I present Barnabas Collins from Dark Shadows.When I scanned it, it didn't pick up some shading.. Weird.
It took me a couple hours to figure out how to add the drawing to the template (Well, the logo). I still have no idea how I did it. xD
The first contest I've ever entered on here. I'm pretty excited!

I fully understand how it could take hours to get that logo to work. I was able to figure it out for one work, but not for another--frustrating. Regardless, you have captured an intent expression. Your use of pencil--or, is it charcoal?--is most interesting. The lines are rendered with a masterful touch. I had the same problem with the shading for my pencil drawings: when uploading it becomes pixelated, fuzzy in places, and not as refined as you'd have it. Still, this is an excellent likeness of Depp as Barnabas. Good luck!

Oh goodness, thank you! It is pencil! Charcoal is so messy, so I rarely use it. But, again, thank you very much!

XD I just found out what it was! Like, no kidding! It's almost alike photoshop but to me it's easier and Free! But yeah, still have no idea what I was doing.

well, u see a lot of digital stuff in contests normally... and "filtered" stuff, u-know?... i just enjoy the basics -sketchy and traditional-

Yeah, I literally just bought Photoshop today and I have no idea how they draw any of that. It's like learning how to draw realistically all over again..

Right? With Traditional you got a pencil and a paper. With digital it's.. "you gotta layer this and liquify that and layer it again. Color dodge and burn that. THERE NOW ADD #5485f4 to the nose!"

The left eye is oddly placed.
Unless that's how it's supposed to be, I'm just noting you on that.
Everything else is PERFECT, just the eye on HIS right is a tad too close to the nose.
