1 hour+ with black markers/drawing pens .3/.5 , copic brown and cool greys, watercolour pencilsand of course my fav: white acrylic paint ;p hehe
somehow i always like how the brushing turns out, cant go wrong with painting! ;p
PS: yes, its sorta gundam Kaempher...
hope its more refined than the previous pic ^_^

For one thing, I have difficulty string at lines, lots of them...
Mecha designs mostly have lots of lines on them.
I'm also weak with perspective of geometric objects... especiaslly those with so much intricate details.
Another better reason is... I can't draw them as weel as a particular friend of mine does ( visit ) , at it's a frustration... But it seems I want to start experimenting.
But your mecha drawings are SOOOOOOO COOL. Makes me want to learn mecha.

The details on this picture are incredible. The falling shells and smoke are especially worthy of note. The mobile suit has a lot of detail and yet it's not too busy. It doesn't tire the eye to look at it. This is an incredibly well done picture.

i like the perspective, especially with the empty shells falling down like that. it still amazes me how well you draw mechs, even after viewing a lot of the stuff in your gallery...
i've never seen watercolor pencils before. i guess i may be going to the wrong stores...i stink with normal watercolors, so maybe i'll find the pencils and give them a try.
