Description
Made for my good friend Valzed ! She's a very strong person, much like this tiger here! Never loose your roar!
This is again a combination of wet/dry brushes. When I found the original reference in the Creative Commons repository, it instantly reminded me of a candle. I tried to capture the tigress melting as she rested and loosing some of her form. I honestly love this picture and how it turned out even if I went a bit nuts with over-saturated colors.

Aw ^^ You're welcome
Really, how do you do ? It seems so realistic but at the same time unreal. You're really good in this

Well I do some skeletal traces of certain anatomical features so that they look more realistic. Much of it plays into the shading, lighting and soft lineartwork. I always use references and 98% of them come from Creative Commons sources that are found about the web. If I get a good enough picture, the linework is crisp and looks good. A low quality picture is harder to go off of, so the result isn't as stunning. It's my style of doing things and I always follow whatever rules are in place. I think this gives people a taste of effects in Photoshop PLUS some of my own artwork mixed in. It takes FOREVER to get something like this together and many of these sit on my hard drives for MONTHS before being uploaded. It looks like I do many in a short time, but I take a hiatus, paint a bunch and then do a mass upload.

It is... usually when people hear that I do trace some things (of which I am very honest and forthright about) they think that's all that goes into a piece. Some pieces are worse than others (lazier) and some take more time but the outcome is more dramatic. I'm not a very good artist (not fishing for a compliment) and there are many better people that create unique poses and stuff. I think my true talent would lie in my ability to bring coloring, effects, textures, lighting to already established subjects and try to make them look more unique in the process. Thank you for asking, me, I love sharing the information.

I indeed think your talent remain in the colors and effects. But that's a really good one, you're doing a great job c: You're welcome
