Here goes the very first version of Dejah Thoris. I guess it's not so striking as version edited by Jamie , but I like the tones and textures here. Don't quite like the background and planets, personally I would see her at night, with the planets shining behind her and Mars as the biggest one, but it was how the project frames went, so..

Nice pic. But the comments about this character being half-naked is correct... I read the original stories and saw the original illustrations and this is more than what she was wearing in the books. The only thing missing is a knife and shortsword.

The shine on all the gold in this is remarkable! I can't believe how you managed to get all of Jamie's lines so meticulous detailed in color and show up so pleasing to the eye! I'm not the biggest fan of almost naked characters, but you did this so well, so soft and gorgeous, that I just have to favorite it!

Light is a very hard thing to create and control. You did a superb job here! It just seems like there is a lot of origins for the light. I don't know if you were going for that or not. . .

I played with photography a little bit and I really love the effect of multiple light sources on the model... so yes, it was intended, although from the beginning to the end I didn't know what exactly I want to achieve. I just wanted her to shine, in a controlled way
