My personal work from 2015, basically started as a simple anatomy practice and then I let myself go with her armor and weapon. Turned out quite crazy and totally impractical but who cares, she's a mage anyway
I know it's totally different than what I usually post and I was hesitant for a long time to upload my personal stuff here but then thought, well, that's who I am as an artist and what I do, coloring comic covers as a day job and painting fantasy stuff at night. It's not quite consistent yet but it's a part of a process. I'm sure I'll be able to merge these two things that I love equally at some point, hopefully doing my own comic book covers.
I tried to color it back then in 2015 but I hated the result and gave up on it. Found this piece now and I'm coloring it again, having more skill and knowledge and I like how it's turning out. You can see the short preview on my instagram: www.instagram.com/p/BcySUGRlqy…

Great job! The figure looks tridimensional, especially the part where the arm is in front of her torso, and the armour on her shoulder. If it's looking this good without colours, it'll look spectacular when you finally colour it. I'd love to see it soon.
