Maybe not very creative concept, I just wanted to test myself painting raindrops on different surfaces. I kind of like the final effect. Painted on April 1st

oh, I think it is creative. The pissed off look of the child shows exactly how she feels about the rain. Adding the balloons gave it a story as it would not have without them (not to mention some added color to balance the art. In the background I can see what looks like other balloons and people with umbrellas, but she doesn't care, it is raining on HER parade and she doesn't like it! (lol)Β It was beautifully executed. Something I like about your work. It is not "overworked", in other words you know when to quit.

I've got to say, of your non-comic coloring work this is by far my favorite. The bright colors and the somber mood is a really great mix in this piece.

I think we all need to find the seller of time. Or maybe we need to find those pesky time keepers from "In Time." (Have to say, I did enjoy that movie. Such an interesting concept to it.)
Your personal works are just amazing. I wish you had more time for them as well. Having time to just have fun going the direction you want to go always helps the mind and body.

Haha, quite an adorable piece! She won't settle for less, it appears. Such a great job done of the softness of the rain, the smoothness of the cheeks, the shading on the rain-jacket, the shine on the balloons. You do such intriguing and lovely pieces at the same time. That's not something a lot of artists can claim to do both these days. Wonderful work!
