FAQ Commissions My Etsy Shop I really don't have anything extensive to say about this picture. I felt the need to draw a hippogryph because I don't remember the last time I've drawn one. The autumn background was also done because I don't do them very often. >_<
This picture used three sheets of paper. I didn't document the time that I worked on it, but I estimate it to have taken about 5-6 hours from start to finish. Soundtrack for working on this was Depeche Mode and the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack.

Pretty awesome! But the shadows make it look like the leg bands are floating just abouve the leg instead of wrapped round it. Also where the top goes from the breast to the flank it looks like it is flowing with the contours. Surely a top like that would stretch accross from high point to high point.

It looks beautiful. I love the colors. Not sure if you've ever played World of Warcraft but between the autumn colors and the hippogryff it definitely gives off an Azshara vibe

There is just on critic I can see so far, don't read it if you don't wanna hear it XD:
the fingers look a bit like "rubber" even if I think that you got the right idea how to pose them

Your art always looks very good. The background gives a feeling of a quiet somber day, the temperature cooling (which I really want where I live, no rain for so long), everything being peaceful. With her in the foreground, it gives the thought that she is a guardian, watching and protecting the land, enjoying the day and watching the seasons change, even taking part in helping the change move along.
This art looks so good, sometimes I feel like I want to jump into there and just walk around, even talk with the shaman. It makes me remember the time I lived up in the northern states, which is something I miss, because I loved to make snow balls and snowmen. Cold, but fun.
