Description

It is with heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I make the announcement that the J'warril nobility has lost one of our own. While I'm sad to say that I perhaps didn't know Lady Lovegood as much as I should have, I will always remember her kind nature and enthusiasm for wildlife that surpasses even my own. I raise a cup of tea in your honor, my dear fallen lady. May Azeur welcome you into the afterlife with open arms.

And may the roads always rise up to meet your travels.

Artist's Notes:

I had to fudge with the prompt to get it to fit within my fictional sci-fi universe, but that's nothing out of the ordinary. >_<

I was actually really happy to see this prompt since I do have a planet with extensive crystal caves in my headworld and I always find it fun to design some of the wildlife for it.

I had originally intended for Lady Lovegood to turn out to be a crystal poacher (one who steals expensive crystals for prophet illegally) to give someone their just deserts for doing such a horrible thing, but at the last minute decided to change her to more of an old friend. Perhaps not a friend that Lady Jae is exceptionally close to but one that she still has fond memories nonetheless.

For the design itself, the crystal part of the prompt was obvious... but I'm actually not a fan of critters with multiple heads so I went with spines instead.
