Since October I've been visiting my local pottery shop. At the time it was mostly to paint Christmas gifts and what not, but it's since become a personal project to make myself a set of parrot themed plates since my kitchen is decorated in parrots.

The first piece that I've made for my kitchen it a casserole dish with budgies (parakeets) painted on the lid. I do have more pieces that are currently firing, so I'll be sure to post things as their finished. I'm expecting my dinnerware project to take a few years to complete.

In the future, I likely will be taking commissions for dinnerware as well. I'll be ably to paint almost anything including dishes, glasses, mugs, tea pots, bowls. Basically whatever the pottery store has in stock.
