Description
The star map for the Saa System, which houses the planets Crimson and Assari. Both of which have a somewhat big role in my galaxy.

Some of the events in issue 1 of Intrepid are scheduled to take place on one of Crimson's moons... which will be awesome just for the sake of having a huge, bright red planet in the background... but I may end up taking those events to a different planet. What happens... just may not make sense due to Crimson's location that is so close to an inhabited world.

I'm working on a few spacescapes of this system. Crimson and Assari NEED to be illustrated. I'd also like to do an illustration of Tsao-Koza, just because I envision it to be such a stunningly beautiful planet, but since no major events in the galaxy's history happens there, it's not a priority. I'll try to finish up some space art tonight... or at least sometime in the next few days. No promises, though.

As always, nothing is to scale. Not even the orbits. This is just to show the placement and names of the planets.

Random things about the Saa System
* The purple nebula in the picture is actually there, but it's less pronounced then the picture shows.
* Crimson is a gas planet, but it is hardly a giant. Seriously - all the other gas giants laugh at it and call it a runt.
* Two of Crimson's moons (Kiken and Uo) are livable but just barely.
* Tsao-Kozi is a white gas giant. It has pale gold-colored rings as the rocks that make up the rings have a high amount of gold ore in them. Needless to say that there is quite a bit of mining going on in the area, but it is highly regulated by the Alliance. There are regular patrols in the area for illegal mining operations.
