Description
A descendant of the infamous Darth Vierus and one of Darth Gore's most trusted Sith Assassins. Darth Kruel is a cybertronian of the Predacon race who transform into bio-organic beast modes instead of vehicles. For Darth Kruel, his alternate beast mode is that of the Predator HellHounds, a race of dog-like reptilian extraterrestrial beings used by the Yautja during hunts. He is agile, swift, cunning and, as his namesake, is very cruel to his foes, showing no mercy or honour, be they Sith or Jedi, except for his soon-to-be master. How he came to be is quite an interesting tale.
Hundreds of years in the future, Kruel was nothing more than a Protoform with no name. In fact, he was one of the several hundreds of status pods that were jettisoned into space by the Maximals. Unfortunately, his pod was sent far into space, drifting for many many years until it landed on a particular planet used by the Yautja as one of their hunting grounds. The pod remained dormant and closed for a long time until it was eventually discovered by a clan of Super Predators. They attempted to open and use the pod, wanting to use it as parts for weapons and armour, but these Predators were eventually stopped by the arrival of Darth Gore, who wiped them all out single handedly. He knew of the origins of the Cybertrons and using the knowledge his former master Vierus taught him, Gore managed open the pod and allowed it to scan the scan its own disguise. The disguise was in fact one of the Predator HellHound the Super Predators had brought with them. And thus, the unnamed Protoform was remade into a Predacon. It was clear that Gore's visit was not by chance or coincidence. He could feel the Force was strong with this creature. It was the same feeling Vierus gave off; that stinging sensation of the Energon tainted by harsh agonising feeling of the Dark side of the Force. It was like a cruel wind had whisked him away into the void, which prompted him a name for this Predacon. Hence forth, the Predacon was named Darth Kruel. And he became one of the first of the seven Sith Acolytes under the watchful eye of Darth Gore.
For the next few years, as more Acolytes showed up, Kruel became one of Gore's most elite assassins and hunters. He was not only trained in the ways of the Sith and in lightsaber combat, but Kruel was taught the ways of hunting just like a Predator. Though his hunting methods were more rudimentary and primitive, Kruel still used his own unique set of hunting tactics that put even the most seasoned Predator in his/her place. Though despite his prowess and superiority, Kruel was nowhere near as strong as Gore. His biggest flaw was his sycophancy towards Gore, always trying to compliment and manipulate the Sith Predator to entrust him as his official apprentice. That was not the way of the Sith; the Sith strive for power. It seemed like Kruel only wanted to overthrow the other Acolytes rather than overthrow his master. He wanted to remain as second only to Gore. His skills and devotion was admirable, but his priorities were unfocused, which is why Gore constantly doubt Kruel's intentions.
Unlike the other Sith Acolytes, Darth Kruel is the only one who can communicate to Gore in the same language of his people, the Yautja language, without the use of the Force.
Like all Cybertronians, Darth Kruel is able to remain in his beast mode for a long time and has adapted into its feral ways. While it may seem counterintuitive that his organic mode might come off as a hinderance, Kruel has upgraded his body with special minerals and alloys that allow him to withstand blasters and survive a lightsaber strike, though only by stabs and extreme hard hits. And just like the Predacons, whenever he transforms into his robot form, he will announce the phrase "Darth Kruel, TERRORISE!"
His lightsaber form is that of both Makashi (form 2) and Juyo (form 7), both of which make him an nearly unpredictable fighter.
