Yes it fits...
General Thy'Lek Shran and General Thy'Ron Dheran (an important OC in this story) are fighting the last (for the next few decades) battle in the Mutara-Sector - in 2168. Dherans son (and the daughter of this son) continues the fight against the empire - against the son of empress Sato, and her grandson (both emperors). Finally the rebels lost this war (something around 2250) and a man named James Tiberius Kirk starts his career in the terran fleet...
