Description
This morning my mom and I were planting crocus and tulip bulbs in our garden, so they'd be ready for the spring soaking. All of a sudden I see something curled up on the lawn- a garter snake. This was one of the biggest garter snakes I've ever seen, it was at least the size of my arm. He was just sitting there enjoying the weather, and we were happy just watching him. I remembered that my camera was in the car, so I walked slowly away to get it. As I was getting in to position, he suddenly shoots toward the garden, slithering under the dead corn husks, were I got this shot.
