Misty barely likes anyone or anything beyond herself and her mom does she? :V I mean I get it she was in school with an asshole of a woman who is a bigger jackass now, almost everyone involved in racing is turning the sport into a blood sport, and her father is implied to be an abusive asshole, but if absolutely everyone in life was out to get her, would they have done so by now? I mean enjoy something in life, besides racing I mean if she still enjoys it.

Starlight certainly is quite surprised due to seeing how, Misty is not too fond of most things and people for that matter. So her reaction is quite shocking indeedΒ But I do feel for, Misty she expected things to go her way once everything else was taken care of but to suddenly be given, Starlight and how really is not going to be by herself for her errand it does bring her downΒ
But perhaps, Starlights company can help bring some light into her. Even loners need some company even if they don't want it. (This comes from experience as I relate to, Misty in a lot of ways)
