Bloody and injured, Alan struggled to pick himself up from the ground after diving out that hole in the wall he made to barely escape the flaming wreckage. He was in a roughed up shape after fighting so many adversaries and being surprised with a self-destruct sequence forcing him to run despite all of his wounds. In the back of his head he knew the one opponent he came for was still there…and no sooner after thinking it did he see the last foe appear in front of him. He had heard it all before; all the taunts of how his struggle was for nothing and that they would be back stronger than before. “Oh we’re not going to let this slide, you bastard…” Alan bit through the pain and threw the duster coat that carried most of his weapons and gear aside before raising his fists. There were no more games to play or jokes to be had; this was really going to be the final battle, and he was either going to go home in victory or fall and perish in the bitter end. “Beaten to Hell, a smug grin on their face, and Achy Breaky Heart is playing on our headphones…

Alright then, let’s die!”
