Impatient and unwilling to yield, Junos is among some of the most intolerant of all Iridaceae. He commands the Lightsworn, originally a group of Iridaceae who were proficient in using the gift of Ohdran in order to fight their foes, that more recently became the name by which those who have left Bein-Ost for good use to differentiate themselves from their pacifistic brothers and sisters, feeling that not only the Hellebore, but every single one of their allies and even the Black Iridaceae should be wiped from the map in a display of great paranoia, stating that it would be better to be rid of them before they tried anything, than to wait. However, without La Vatign’s word on the matter, the Iridacean forces would be unable to claim such a victory, and his fanaticism is kept quiet and in check except among like-minded individuals.

Sharing the same hard-headed trait as his sister, Junos is not one to be convinced otherwise of his ideals, or that they may even be slightly more intense than they need to be. Any such accusation is met with incredulity and verbal attack. His court manner is generally lacking, and unless kept in check, from time to time disagreements come to blows, as Junos is a great advocate of La Vatign’s infamous duels to the death as a form of public disagreement settling. Extremely intense, he is one who would be happy to sacrifice a few of his men for the kills of his enemies.

It is only the La Vatign Queen, Jacinthe Bellamont, who can control him and his outbursts, as she is one of the few Ohdrans that he truly respects. He is almost always at her side, be it in the street or at the bath, and answers to her beck and call, leading to rumors of various kind circulating about their relationship.

Junos, more than any other of the Iridaceae characters, is a pain in the ass to color because his skin tone is more gold than silver, and the iridescent quality of it is really hard to get across without looking completely weird.
