In my case, most of my drawings are made in office quality paper and some of the older ones, still have the colour like the first time.
It depends of how you keep your drawings. If they are exposed to the sunlight or light in general, eventually the colours will fade.

Are your drawings exposed to the light, or inside a folder?
With being exposed, I mean, if they are hanged in the wall, to decorate for example

That's a really fun style! It gives off a bit of a street-art vibe, and I could easily see this as part of a mural somewhere in LA. I like the expression that the popsicle has, and the wonky eyes add a lot of humor to it. Great work!
