Description This is a 1-click Windows 7 Transformation Pack. It is to be installed using 7tsp. 7tsp is a sytem file patcher which allows you to customize Windows in a simple way with just few mouse clicks. The pack will install the Theme, Metro System Icons, Windows 8 System Sounds, Windows 8 Cursor and a Logon screen. It will work on both 32bit (x86) and 64bit (x64) systems.

Instructions:

Backup your system and create a restore point before patching. Note that your system must be ready to use custom themes prior to installation of this pack. The pack is to be loaded directly into 7tsp in 7zip format. Do not unpack the transformation packs. Everything is explained in the 7tsp Tutorial

Note:

The Pack is tested thoroughly and it works properly. Unlike other installers; 7tsp doesn't replace the entire system files. It just replaces the resources in the system files so the chances of files getting corrupt are minimal. And since 7tsp doesn't replace your system files, the customization won't be affected by Windows Updates.

Whenever using multimonitors (3) via nvidia surround, the start menu opens on the far left monitor whenever I have set the taskbar to be confined to the center screen via nvidia control panel, since that is where I focus at.

I also use DisplayFusion because it adds more multimonitor support (but I've disabled all taskbar modifications to see if it was causing any issues but it wasn't).

Now what's weird is that when I click on either of the outer screens and not the inner (primary screen/center screen) and then press the windows key on my keyboard, it opens the start menu on the center screen like it's suppose to but doesn't work right if I do it in reverse or if I click the start orb itself (it then shows up on far left screen at bottom left corner as though it was spanned across all 3 screens).

Right now the only way I can use your theme is if I keep the taskbar at full length and span it across all 3 screens but it's seriously inconvenient. Other than this big issue I have, I really do enjoy the theme -- I just wish it didn't do this nerve wracking bug...

Another one would be that the login screen doesn't span properly across 3 monitors. The login screen centers on the middle screen with about 2 1/2 inches spanning to the left and right -- into the other 2 screens. I really wish it took up the entire 3 screens because then it would be the only theme I've ever came across to do this.

theme is great! Took like 30mins to get it fully working...needed the 2 additional things installed before it looks the way it's supposed to.

HOWEVER, whenever I restart the PC, the system icon tray only shows the volume and internet icons. Β The other programs that are supposed to start at the beginning of a system startup do not even start! What is going on? Β This is pretty game-breaking...I may have to remove the theme cause of this

Beautiful theme! I have an issue however where when i select a file or folder it does not show up highlighted it is just white is there a way to fix this?

UltimateDesktops In reply to KJB07 [2013-12-22 22:20:51 +0000 UTC]

The highlight element is present but it's very light and some may find it difficult to make out the selected items. This is a theme element and you'll have to change it by editing the theme in Windows Style Builder.

This transformation pack is only for Windows 7. You can't install this on Windows 8. If you install this on Windows 8, your system will fail to boot. Install this Metro Iconpack fav.me/d5vdz0z for Windows 8. It'll just install the icons and works perfect on Windows 8 and 8.1

This is a awesome.. I also like the "Base" theme for windows 8. Wonder if one could be made for Windows 7. [link] . And also look awesome as a theme for a Pro ROG Theme.

This is truely awesome... much easier than doing it all manually. the logon background would look better with something different like a black or green version. [link]

Very nice indeed! The only thing I dislike is the taskbar 'Internet/ Volume' icons, how can I revert those individual icons back?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

UltimateDesktops In reply to motion92 [2013-05-10 03:22:42 +0000 UTC]

Just delete pnidui.dll.res and SndVolSSO.dll.res files from the pack before patching. If you have already patched your system, use the restore function of 7tsp to restore pnidui.dll and SndVolSSO.dll files.

Thanks for this amazing work!. However, it did not work correctly when I installed microsoft explorer 10. explorer 10 dosen't work out in this theme. Thus, I downgraded it to explorer 9, then no matter what i do, the start orb starts to return original theme button.

UltimateDesktops In reply to redspawn [2013-03-18 18:38:38 +0000 UTC]

Issues with Internet Explorer 10 are fixed. Just download and install the pack again. You must install Theme Resource Changer to display the Start Button.

Hi, epic theme and all but is it possible to change the green highlight colour? Also how do I revert the icon change? Thanks anyway!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

UltimateDesktops In reply to GoldenGiratina [2013-03-07 21:20:40 +0000 UTC]

You'll have to edit the Geniun 8.msstyles to change the green highlight color.

To revert back icons, use the restore function of 7tsp and select the first option. Refer tutorial for details.

help please start orb and navigation buttons not patching/working for me it doesn't change

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

UltimateDesktops In reply to aserojmdsp [2013-02-22 22:28:57 +0000 UTC]

As already explained, your system must be ready to use custom themes. You must use Universal Theme Patcher to patch your system to enable custom themes and install Theme Resource Changer to change start orb, navigation buttons and control panel images. Note that both are separate tools with separate functions. You have to use them both.

In this case, install theme resource changer and start button, navigation buttons and control panel images will be displayed automatically.

The visual style is not working for me. I did everything as instructed but it's not working for me.

Sounds, cursors and icons are all displaying correctly but the theme it self is not working for me.

Instead it displays windows classic theme.

I tried restoring it back to the original state and then try and install again but to my avail it didn't work.

Could anyone exlpain to me what might have gone wrong?

raidux In reply to raidux [2013-02-21 11:34:00 +0000 UTC]

Nevermind.
I got it working now.
Turns out that 7tsp "forgot" to patch one essential system file in order for the theme to work.

I used Universal Theme Patcher to fix this issue though.

Thanks for this awesome skin!

UltimateDesktops In reply to raidux [2013-02-21 14:41:04 +0000 UTC]

When you are in custom themes section; it is assumed your system is ready to use custom themes. Yes, your system must be already patched to use custom themes prior to installation of this pack. You have to use Universal Theme Patcher, don't use 7tsp for that purpose. Glad you sorted it out.
