Man, no one else has anything to say about this?
For starters, I liked how J2K gave the character a new look. I may let it inspire me for a futuristic version, but I'm sticking with the old armor. The anime style still hasn't found a way out of my pencils. I guess I am just not a good tooner.
What really bothers me about this piece though, is the large wolf head. I honeslty would have put Wolfton's face there, and I would have had it faded into the background. The Werewolf looming over the name should be more, I don't know, more?
I am not criticizing this because I have been drawing the character for 20 years, but because I think that J2K could benefit from my observations in his mainstream compositions.

MAN!
For some reason I couldn't join in Germany and I couldn't even post a reply...
Oh, I am Will. UltimateJ2K drew this one for me. I use it as the desktop background on all my computers. (work and home)
For starters, there was nothign Todd McFarlane about this character, or his 'green energy balls'. Also, the memory thing was ONLY during a crossover we collaborated on years ago, in which Will Wolfton was frozen in ice for 2 thousand years, and reanimated by the bad guys in J2K's comic. Will escaped and met up with the good guys. The good guys captured him and tried to teleport him back to his time, but since he was frosen in ice and his metabolism was only super-slowed, and not halted, Will was in the right time. Will joined the good guys and fell for an Asian bombshell.
The sword, like the armor, changes over time. They are both made of a mystical stuff called metalmorph. (I know, original, but I haven't renamed it for the last 20 years, so it should be cool.)
The sword is a hybrid weapon, wielded more like a battleaxe than a sword. The edge is razor sharp (shapeshifting metal can do that) Of course, Will is a werewolf, and he needed an armor that could change with him.
Pretty soon, I'll have my stuff back up on the web, and I'll have the whole story (before that crossover that never was) up for your viewing pleasure.
J2K, let me know if you're not posting your real name in here...
Watch me (wolfton) and I'll do the same.

All true...and yes I try to keep the name game to a min...I don't hide it per se but you know how those harvester bots cull through websites for names and email addresses.

wow, nice wolfie ^^
and the pose is quite cool
the shading is nice, reminds me the way I used to cg 2 years ago ( I changed a bit my style, thought)
still be careful with the shadows in the parts that are suposed to be 3d and make some more contrast...
