X6, My first X game and I so love it. It's a hard game but that's what made me like it. I just feel amazing after beating a stage. Many don't like this game because of its difficulty. It's sad though. I think the game is amazing!
They should have worked more on the Nightmare System though.I'm the few who loves X6.

Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up aSPECIALROOM to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.
Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death.

That cutscene is probably one of the only things about X6's storyline that I like. Not only do you have a villain that isn't being forced into evil by a virus (I think the whole revolution aspect the first 2 games and MHX was better), but it helps to develop Alia as a character. And no one hides themself to repair themself or anything awful like that. Though really, I think that cutscene shouldn't be unlocked in such a way that you have to go out of your way to collect a bunch of Nightmare Souls (in other words, play it automatically, like maybe after you beat a certain number of Mavericks or something else mandatory), cause the story doesn't make as much sense if you don't see it.
As for this artwork, great job! If it's reminiscent of your actual gameplay, then you're much better at playing as unarmored X than I am. XD

My personal favorite moment from X6's story is when gate says that he couldn't analyze Zero's DNA: then he proceeds to say :

Megaman helped me find myself. In my childhood, i used to play megaman and pretend all the enemies i was slaying were demons, to fight and purge, but alas, it finally dawned on me, i am the demon.

My only problem with X6 is that you can't upgrade Zero's health and weapon gauges equally as X. One way or another, if you want to equally upgrade them, you will end up with their weapon gauge higher than health gauge. And Zero's Wolfgang skill is pretty useless against Rainy Turtloid who is actually weak to it because the ceiling is too high for Zero.
Lucky that there's a glitch that makes Z/X Saber becomes the strongest weapon ever even more than Giga Attacks.

Cool picture! Though to be honest, I've never really liked X6 very much. (mainly because of the level design) However, there are some things I really did like about X6. I really loved the armors X could get, and I love Zero's abilities in that game. I also like the idea of X and Zero having both a buster and saber. (though I really wished X would swing his Z-Saber faster)

I love X6 too, there's a decently sized fanbase for X6 actually.
I don't like the nightmare system in this game though.
Some of the effects are pretty annoying,and sometimes the stage will keep some nightmare effects.

X6 was also one of my first megaman games to have played in my childhood
Infinity Mijinion was perhaps the hardest boss i have ever faced (With Zero) in extreme difficult.

Very splendid work. The lighting is fabulous. I really like X's pose, it feels dynamic. The yellowish white smudges around X are a bit strange, I'm not sure what they're suppose to be. They seem to be placed around at random without flow or rhythm.

People didn't like this game mainly because of it's poor story as well as the fact it was made behind Keiji Inafune's back which caused him to alter his story for the Zero series.
But I still like the game myself, but I do not like the story though.

Getting some of my friends to play it over the years, their complaints varied quite a bit. The difficultly of a few sections, the nightmare system taking some serious farming, the bonus hazard system seemingly appearing to be random, X being Piss-poor at using the Z-saber, and the poor story. Oh, and also that one guy in Infinity Mijinion's stage thats nearly impossible to rescue.
Though Zero's "Rape-saber", X's Shadow armor, fighting dynamo again, and having a kickass Sigma final form pretty much made them and me happy enough to look past all that nonsense. X6 is still a great game in its own way

Personally, I LOVE X5, as it was the very first X game that I could play on an actual console, and not on an emulator or a server.
Plus, the story was - in my opinion - the single greatest plot to have ever been contrived for this awesome series.
So, yeah, every game past X4 - in my opinion - gets a lot of undeserved flak just because they aren't quite the same games as the original three were. And yes, the difficulty of these games WAS pretty astounding, but I don't think that anybody should hate a game just because of its difficulty. That's a lot like how Sonic fans took a dislike to Sonic Lost World just because it isn't the typical hold-boost-to-win style of gameplay we saw in the other past three incarnations.
...It just makes one look like an imbecile.
But, anyway, sorry I turned this into a rant, just thought I'd mention my personal favorite X game.

I love all the series, but have to say my favorite is X4, because of the speed you can complete a stage and so much combos, but well, X5 and X6 are real good too!!!

Many don't like this game for another reason; it feels half-assed. Their idea of a storyline had me confused, they didn't even bother dubbing the japanese lines, and it just felt sloppy. To top it all off, X6 was never supposed to exist in the first place; X5 was meant to be the last game in the X series, but Capcom wanted to keep milking the franchise for all it was worth.
On the picture itself, though, you did a fantastic job on it. X standing on a mountain of vanquished nightmares just feels epic.
