Description
(Rejected Robot Master Design)Sapphire man suffered tremendous criticism form his God UMX. His God decided his fate will be on the purification area called the recycle bin. However, His merciful God thought it would be better to show his design to his faithful watchers. Sapphire Man v1 and v2 was never so happy!
However, since his God didn't want his creation to be wasted, he thought that maybe Sapphire man will work as a secret boss. Sapphire Man v1 and v2 was never so happy! However, the problem is God created two version of Sapphire Man. Only one shall remain.
Sapphire v1 and v2 was never so sad.
But seriously, I am not pleased with the design though it's not bad for me. XD I came up with 2 version and end up rejecting both. Maybe I'll make them a secret boss and perhaps use both design. I'll just make them a duo.

Maybe you could have a Gemini-Man-thing going for their boss fight, where they both fight at the same time. Then, they can both be used... and happy. Though that's probably said multiple times already here in the comments.

V1 could be a mini boss before sapphire man and V2 could be the actual boss

Pretty awesome, i loved Sapphire Man v1 and i got an idea for his boss battle. You will fight with v2....and after you defeat him, he will transform into a large sapphire, after you destroy it, it will get cracked and sapphire man v1 will appear.

Both look great but I think option 1 is better but maybe put a small sapphire emblem on his chest and make the three sapphire spikes a bit shorter and more geometrical maybe?

That'd be cool if they fight together as a secret boss, they're designs are awesome so it'd be a shame for them to be discarded in the recycle bin... DX

Maybe you could do sapphire men so when you reach the secret boss room you would have to fight both of them on, make it similar to the x and zero fight in maverick hunter x
where one sapphire man teleports away and the other fights megaman and then vise versa, tho its up to u wether they share the same health bar or have separate

Sapphire Man v1 reminds me a bit of Serpent Megamerged with Biometal W in ZX. Was that supposed to be intentional or not?

I really like the helmet design in v2. It'd go well with a rhino-inspired layered armor design, too.

The v1 reminds me of Daytona from Gunvolt more than model W strangely, but also it's my favorite version ~

I have 2 Ideas For you:
1 - Make Him Change Forms During His Fight so He will Switch between Attack/Defense Mode (V2) and Agile/Speed Mode (V1). As V2 is More Blocky Like he is specially armored and Can Deliver More Hits and V1 Is Is much more Agile looking, with smoother Aerodynamic Shapes and Needle Weapons that might do good, but not Serious Quick Collision Damage.
2 - He could Be 2 Boss Fights. The first form would be V2 as he looks a bit more clunky and not equip with many weapons. He would then Return as V1 as It is much more smoother with more weapons. His attacks could be altered to seem more efficient that his last form as well as having 1 or more new ones. (I got this Idea From Refining Gem Stones)
I like your Idea of a Duo too, but I hope My Ideas will atleast help you in some way even if you modify it for something other than Sapphire Man.

I for one like them both. As a few people have stated, the concept of not one but both of them functioning as some sort of plot device or dynamic duo sounds pretty neat. Though if I had to choose, I'd say the one on the right is my favorite.

You should make it a secret boss. To be fair, V1 reminds me of Serpent Model W. It looks very good though. Both versions are great.

oh idea: Make them two separate bosses but make them unique. Like for Sapphire Man v1 have him show up first but then after defeat he mentions another person similar to him. Which in return could be the Sapphire Man v2 and have it so that he mentions it in special dialog he's pissed at his brother's death and challenge's Megaman to a duel.

I actually like version 1, myself. There is something smoother about his armor that feels more right. V2 feels more.. blocky.
