Bio: Kuai Liang grew up alongside his brother, Bi-Han, as members of the Lin Kuei assassins. Bi-Han originally took up the title of "Sub-Zero", as he and his brother were descended from a race of cryomancers. However, a demonic ninja called Scorpion slaughtered Bi-Han, thinking that he was responsible for the death of his entire clan, and Kuai Liang, desiring justice, took up his brother's former mantle. Not only that, he began to realize some of his own clan's wrongdoings, which drove him to defect. Both during his exile and after returning to the clan, Sub-Zero has always come to the aid of Raiden and the heroes of Earthrealm whenever needed. And after defeating the cybernetic Sektor, Sub-Zero became the Lin Kuei's new grandmaster and strived to reform the clan as a force for good. Though to this day, Sub-Zero still clashes with his eternal rival, Scorpion, although no longer as mortal enemies, but as respected allies.
