Pression is a small blob of what appears to be cellular goop, with colors varying in a general pink or purple range. Their eyes are a solid, almost glowing white, as well as their mouth. The way light refracts off their body makes them appear to have a lot of little shimmers, like they're glimmering. When they Transform, the color and nature of their eyes and mouth stays the same, and the body of the new Pokemon is typically slightly less saturated than the norm.

Because they blend in so well, not a whole lot is really known about Press. They're very secure being invisible around society, though they do offer a public service, due to their species. That's how they've made money for the time that they've been around the crater, which seems to be literally forever. They can't confirm their age with anyone because they don't actually have any friends; and any friends that they had in the past have either died or they don't remember them, and vice versa. They've traveled around the crater all their life, and have lived in just about every city and every corner of the land. There are a few Pokemon species that they can duplicate from memory, though they're not sure how they know these Pokemon anymore. They have HPD (Histrionic Personality Disorder) and prefer to not grow attached to others, for fear of being unable to let go, or of becoming them and forgetting who they are. They often have delusions that they were a different Pokemon in the past, and by Transforming so much, they've forgotten how to turn back into that Pokemon, so they instead became a pile of cellular matter, which became known as Ditto. Whether these delusions are true or not is up for debate, as only they would know, since they've outlived anyone who could confirm otherwise.

  They become an imperfect replica of any Pokemon in sight, and sometimes from memory. If they've seen a Pokemon's skills in combat, they're able to duplicate those as well, along with any weapons or magic the Pokemon may own. However, they can never be as powerful as the Pokemon they've copied, and tire out very easily in their Transformations. If they try to duplicate a Pokemon from memory that they haven't fully learned, they can get details wrong, even Transforming into a pseudo-hybrid by accident, or getting colors wrong. They have a tendency to prefer Transforming into the opposite gender of single-gendered or commonly-gendered Pokemon, or even Pokemon with sexual dimorphism, such as a female Gallade or a male Florges, a female Machop or a male Clefairy, or a female Unfezant with male patterns, and a male Meowstic with female patterns. There are a few Pokemon that they have mastered transforming into by memory, but they are limited to only one attack for each.

Current situation: As we know, Kabier has broken away from the Explorers guild, and some followers have joined him. How do you feel about this? Ecstatic? Disappointed? Neutral? Will your team be joining? Given the magnitude of this announcement, it is best you approach the Guild Leaders of the guilds you have chosen to confirm your allegiance.

"Where did I come from?"

The question rang in the air and echoed upon the crater walls and into the sky. A lonely little blob of cellular matter shlunk into its own body, staring up at the edges of the crater, and at the clouds that dared to peek through. "The crater... It wasn't always there. It couldn't be. I remember... but do I actually remember? Or am I just imagining, daydreaming, and believing it to be true..?" They asked themself rhetorically. They did this often, sitting outside of their house, watching the clouds, attempting to imagine a sky without a crater blocking it. "I know it's possible..." They whispered. They weren't sure how old they actually were, but they know that they've been here longer than any other Pokemon they've met around the world. Or, well, inside the crater, at least. They lifted their head a bit upwards towards the sky, wiggling their body a bit to work out non-existent cramps.

"Who am I?" They asked themself. They shook their head immediately, "I mean, I'm ME obviously, but... Well, why do I feel like I WAS someone else... in the past?" Another question that constantly rang around in their gelatinous body. As a Ditto, their signature ability was to Transform into other Pokemon and, less comfortably, other objects as well. Although, when they Transform into others, they tend to copy more than just their appearance. Their personality, their preferences, sometimes even trivial things like their random idiosyncrasies, such as digging symbols in the dirt or occasionally rubbing their nose. However, they loved their ability; they Transformed and duplicated just about every Pokemon they could see. Despite this, or perhaps because of this, they feel like their Ditto self isn't natural, and wasn't always the default Pokemon they would unTransform into. But, no matter how hard they rocked their mind, they couldn't remember the "original" Pokemon they once were, if they even were one. Decades of "Transform hopping," a bad habit they have in which they go directly from one Transformation into another without recharging as a Ditto, has probably led to this unfortunate limbo.

A sudden ruckus was heard from the distance, capturing the attention of the Ditto for a moment. They rolled around a bit, attempting to eye the source of the murmuring. "What's the commotion?" They rhetorically asked, hearing some shouting of incoherent words, with an occasional "Explorer!" or "Tradesmen!" or even... "Rogue"? being repeated through the wind. They sighed, jumping into the air and Transforming into their most comfortable specimen, that of a Swablu. Taking on a female body, she daintily flapped her way into the sky, zooming past houses, culdesacs, and alleyways, along with the groups of children playing Explorer, the black market deals of the darker Tradesmen, and what she assumed to be potential Rogue work; a thief stealing food from a Tradesmen's cart, but then offering it to some of the younger, hungry children on the poor side of town. She sighed, still feeling the new, tainted air of Jusevi. She had only moved into the Tradesmen's company a couple of weeks ago, and was just barely getting settled in.

She finally caught up to the crowd, diving in between a few other Pokemon, and then Transforming into a nearby shiny Archen that she spotted, in hopes to blend in with the crowd. She darted around a bit, settling between a couple of different Pokemon so that her Transformation wouldn't be as noticeable. After she felt comfortable, she finally took the time to look up at what the crowd was gaping at, just in time to see the childish display of a massive shiny Luxray, arguing against the leader Charizard, who she knew to be Renzor, the practical "mayor" of the city, for lack of a better term. He was the head of the Explorers guild, and that Luxray, she guessed, was meant to be the heir? But, he got denied, it seems... He was screaming some piss-baby nonsense about leaving the Explorers to make his own guild, she couldn't be bothered to listen. She noted Jean-Pierre at the other side of the respected dragon, and further noted his apathetic reaction to the scene that lashed out right next to him, taking the chance to simply wipe a speck of dust from his shirt and to adjust his cravat.

Her focus was broken by the Pokemon all beside her shouting... for the Rogues? And for "Kabier," which must have been the Luxray's name, and the former being the name of the new guild he decided to form. She stole a glance at the few who encored for him, and recognized a few only by the bounties on their heads for heinous crimes... She was glad she wasn't on that side of the business end for once. She made a nod to Jean once more, Transforming into a Jynx, before making the silent decision to converse with the Linoone after the commotion had died down...

She meandered her way through the crowd, reaching the dissolving outer edges, those being much less dense with other Pokemon, and watching from the obscured sidelines as a good half of the city it seemed stood up against the traditional Explorers to follow the lead of the childish man-kitten. Many of her fellow Tradesmen even severed their allegiance, having the mass hysteria-induced gall to do so in front of Jean-Pierre himself, although the Linoone seemed to not notice, or just not even care. His posture remained stiff and straight-forward, a very convincing reflection of his own personality, although that may be an understatement. As Kabier victoriously trotted off the stage with his trail of follows, the other leaders took the opportunity to return to their own quarters. Pression sighed of relief, finally able to talk to the ferret without the drama.

She calmly swayed her way to the massive, delicately engraved double doors of the Tradesman's office. She drew in a breath to hold her composure, and then lightly knocked at the door. "Jean?" She quietly beckoned. She perked as her request was met not with the courtesy of the Linoone himself, but of the door creaking open and allowing her in. Walking slowly as to make as little noise as possible, hoping to not disturb the aloof weasel, she approached him with the most polite voice she could muster. "Jean-Pierre, may I speak with you for just a moment?"

Her response was an unmoving statue of a Jean continuing to stare out one of his massive ornate windows. After some time, he turned his head slightly, not enough to see her, or allow her to see his eyes, but enough to acknowledge her presence. "Please exit your Transformation, and then respecfully address me once more." He sternly ordered.

"A-ah.. sorry." She apologized, her body quickly clasping into light and sloping back down into their pile of cells. "If I may, Jean-Pierre, I wish to speak with you about current events. I'm somewhat concerned about my position as a Tradesmen and as part of your guild, and Kabier's corruption seems to be rather widespread-"

"I've no opinion on the matter." He interrupted.

They inhaled, before tilting their body slightly. "Oh? So then..." nothing's changing, I assume? But, there must be a significant shortage of Tradesmen now, if anything...

"Kabier's decision to form an entirely new guild, no matter the motives, has absolutely no effect on my own whatsoever. All Tradesmen will still be expected to sell their goods and services to any customer without bias." The two nodded simultaneously. "There is, however, one small procedural setback." He droned, and the Ditto that continued to stare at the back of his head tilted up. That is until, for the first time during their conversation, Jean dared to move, even turning an entire 180, to grasp at a blank document on the top of a stack of duplicate documents. "You will be required to fill out an application to secure your allegiance with our guild." He dryly explained, handing the paper to the blob.

Pression skimmed over the file, noting the locations for signatures, initials, information on abilities and natures, and weapons or accessories. They almost audibly rasped, but thought better of it. They looked up towards the towering mammal, "And, of course, my services will still be fully licensed under the guild? Will there be any restrictions or exceptions?" They inquired, with a twinge of concern.

Jean had returned to his structural position of staring out the window like a caged bird watching the sky. He lazily lifted a hand to incoherently gesture his words as he spoke, "Not unless you make them yourself. The Tradesmen have dedicated themselves to holding strong to our own neutrality, though I cannot stop you from preferring one client to another, especially for your own safety." He dropped his hand to meet the other behind his back, but was met with a lingering silence. Once it became horridly noticeable, he turned back towards the Ditto once more, considering, "I can give you free reign of your own services without consequence. I understand that your services are a bit more..." He knocked his eyes around, searching for the right word, "...personal."

"No no! It's fine, I can handle it!" They optimistically responded, feeling interrupted from filling out the application. "I was simply curious was all, I'm not one to pick and choose." They smiled, handing back the document. The leader received it with a slight smirk, placing it on another pile that could be mistaken for a block of wood due to it's pristine perfectionistic placement. Pression nodded with respect, slithering their way out of his office, waiting until the door was closed behind them before Transforming back into a Swablu. She quickly took off, her eyes never leaving the sight of the massive crevices that barred off the sky.

"I just hope I don't, you know..." She darted her way through the peaks of the nearby forest, swooping her way up the mountainside, and resting on a small precipice that jutted out from the edge, giving her a perfect view of the roof of the crater. "...regret this..." She relaxed from her Transformation, becoming a Ditto once more, and began to cloudgaze. They lost themselves in time, focusing on their past and on the crater, on the city and on their life.

"Kabier's decision to form an entirely new guild, no matter the motives, has absolutely no effect on my own whatsoever. All Tradesmen will still be expected to sell their goods and services to any customer without bias." The two nodded simultaneously. "There is, however, one small procedural setback." He droned, and the Ditto that continued to stare at the back of his head tilted up. That is until, for the first time during their conversation, Jean dared to move, even turning an entire 180, to grasp at a blank document on the top of a stack of duplicate documents. "You will be required to fill out an application to secure your allegiance with our guild." He dryly explained, handing the paper to the blob.

Pression skimmed over the file, noting the locations for signatures, initials, information on abilities and natures, and weapons or accessories. They almost audibly rasped, but thought better of it. They looked up towards the towering mammal, "And, of course, my services will still be fully licensed under the guild? Will there be any restrictions or exceptions?" They inquired, with a twinge of concern.

Jean had returned to his structural position of staring out the window like a caged bird watching the sky. He lazily lifted a hand to incoherently gesture his words as he spoke, "Not unless you make them yourself. The Tradesmen have dedicated themselves to holding strong to our own neutrality, though I cannot stop you from preferring one client to another, especially for your own safety." He dropped his hand to meet the other behind his back, but was met with a lingering silence. Once it became horridly noticeable, he turned back towards the Ditto once more, considering, "I can give you free reign of your own services without consequence. I understand that your services are a bit more..." He knocked his eyes around, searching for the right word, "...personal."

"No no! It's fine, I can handle it!" They optimistically responded, feeling interrupted from filling out the application. "I was simply curious was all, I'm not one to pick and choose." They smiled, handing back the document. The leader received it with a slight smirk, placing it on another pile that could be mistaken for a block of wood due to it's pristine perfectionistic placement. Pression nodded with respect, slithering their way out of his office, waiting until the door was closed behind them before Transforming back into a Swablu. She quickly took off, her eyes never leaving the sight of the massive crevices that barred off the sky.

"I just hope I don't, you know..." She darted her way through the peaks of the nearby forest, swooping her way up the mountainside, and resting on a small precipice that jutted out from the edge, giving her a perfect view of the roof of the crater. "...regret this..." She relaxed from her Transformation, becoming a Ditto once more, and began to cloudgaze. They lost themselves in time, focusing on their past and on the crater, on the city and on their life.

"Maybe I'll discover something about myself."
